[In anticipation of their little dinner date Fai had taken the time to spiff up his apartment, at least making sure that the worst of the clutter was organized, the floor was swept, etc. His apartment was small but cozy, with a (formerly blue) sofa, a couple of matching wingback chairs, a glass coffee table, and every free inch of space along the edges of the room taken up by bookshelves filled with paperbacks and knick-knacks and music paraphernalia.
