I remembered going inside a book to look for someone.

Going inside a book? How do you mean?

As in literally. I was in a library, I was going to look for an "Ibuse-sensei", and then I went inside a book and ended up in a place with words in the sky like you saw.

"Ibuse-sensei"? I wonder who that is.

So the sky with the letters is inside a book? That seems far-fetched, but since several of these memories are far-fetched as well, maybe it's not as much, these days.

More or less far-fetched than your blood being ink?

No, I suppose doing that might prove useless, in case it turns out what's been ruled out is something that shouldn't have been.

It's not the worst thing I could remember. I already thought we weren't human because of the ink blood.

No, yeah, I thought so too. I have never heard of anything that has ink blood before though, so WHAT we are is a mystery.

Book spirit... At least that isn’t an alien. Probably. Though I have memories of things that are probably specific to Earth. Do you?

I was arrested once for probable involvement with communist groups. I think there aren't that many communist aliens, but I could be wrong.

That's what I think is most likely. I can't rule anything out, but you can't get arrested for communism these days.

No, I don’t think you can, so it’s likely.

It helps narrow down the time frame some to a span of about forty years. That's useful.

Yeah... I have memories involving a feminist group from the 1910's, and Mt. Rushmore, though while it was still being carved. So I guess so. That we can figure out a time frame.

Sounds about right to me, since my guess was 1900s-1940s.

Were you an adult by then?

Late teens or early twenties, I think.

You must have been younger than me, then. In the ones relating to the 1910's I have to have been in my thirties, I think. But in one I was at least seventy.

I know I never made it to seventy.
